The Spy Who Left Me was selected both for the ARCHIDOC program run by French national film school La Femis as well as the EDN: Lisbon Docs Pitch in 2016. Because of time constraints, we decided to develop the project through the ARCHIDOC program which ran from Fall 2016 - Spring 2017. During this period, project support was provided by Creative Skillset UK as well as Creative Scotland. In 2017, The Spy Who Left Me advanced to the second round of project selections at the IDFA Forum but ultimately was not selected for the final round. In 2018, the project was selected for inclusion in the EURODOC 2018 Documentary Producers workshop with funding support by the Scottish Documentary Institute.
